Stories of Nutrition for Trauma Campaign

Dear Community Members,

We are excited to announce the launch of our Trauma Stories Campaign, an initiative aimed at amplifying voices of resilience and healing within our community. At True Paleo Inc, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling to inspire empathy, build connections, and promote holistic wellness.

We invite you to share your personal stories of trauma and how you used nutrition and/or body-mind-spirit practices to overcome your struggles. Whether you have faced challenges related to loss, adversity, or hardship, your experiences matter, and your voice deserves to be heard. Your story has the potential to uplift and empower others who may be navigating similar journeys.

To participate, simply submit your story through our online platform, either in written format, video testimonial, or audio recording. Your submission will remain confidential, and you have the option to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

Selected stories will be featured prominently in our campaign, which aims to highlight nutritional trauma-informed care solutions. Through your courageous sharing, we hope to create a safe and supportive space for healing, growth, and connection within our community.

Stories have a beginning, middle, and end. Consider answering these questions to better shape the details of your story:

  1. How does your story begin?

  2. What initially happened that got you in your situation? 

  3. When did things get "not so good"?

  4. What lifestyle practices were you lacking?

  5. Did you have dietary troubles? (examples: food restriction, food insecurity, food access issues, binge eating, food addiction, alcohol addiction, etc.) How did your lifestyle play a role in this?

  6. How did you get out of your situation?

  7. Which nutritional techniques or body-mind-spirit practices did you use to recover and conquer your battles?

Rate your trauma event or stress level at the lowest point of your story (1=low, 5=high).
