ABSTRACT
Background: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease that can be onset due to excess stress.
Purpose: The aim was to briefly investigate MS in relation to stress associations and provide a guide for practitioners that will direct their course of action in the event a client presented with this condition.
Results: A nutrition protocol was developed for alternative treatment options.
Conclusion: Based on stress’s effect on the innate immune system, vitamin B1, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B9 (folate), vitamin B12, and CO₂-rich foods, may serve as foundational starting points for developing MS nutrition protocols.
